Since its first mission trip in 1999, Global Hands of Healing has sent volunteer mission teams which have provided medical, dental and vision care to more than 15,000 people in Mexico, Guatemala, Panama and Nicaragua.
Each year teams comprised of physicians, nurses, dentists, translators and other volunteers donate their time to bring relief to people suffering due to a lack of healthcare that most of us take for granted. By treating general aches and pains, as well as chronic diseases – such as diabetes, heart disease, leprosy, tooth decay, parasites and vision problems – our teams have brought healing and hope to people in some of the most impoverished villages and cities in the Western Hemisphere.
Through generous donations of time, money and supplies, Global Hands of Healing is able to continue providing healthcare to those who otherwise would go without treatment and care.
Global Hands of Healing is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, all contributions to the organization are tax-deductible. Third party information regarding non-profit organization including copies of their IRS 990 forms, is available at www.guidestar.org.
